01 / Review and sign
Review the transfer agreement before signing. Confirm the buyer, the claim and rights being sold, the purchase price, and any conditions or continuing responsibilities. Ask for clarification before you agree.
02 / Payment is initiated
After you review and sign the transfer agreement, Wychwood initiates payment within two business days. Payment is available by wire transfer, ETH, SOL, or USDC. Confirm the method, currency or asset, amount, network where applicable, and any fees in the agreement. Initiation and receipt are different: bank or network processing can affect when funds arrive.
03 / Confirm receipt and complete the transfer
Once you confirm receipt of payment, Wychwood files the transfer of claim with the court and gives you a court-stamped copy for your records, completing the transaction process. Keep this copy together with your signed agreement and payment confirmation. The applicable court procedure depends on the claim; filing does not itself establish allowance.
If something delays closing
Ownership questions, missing authority, discrepancies in the claim, or unresolved objections may require further review. Ask which conditions remain open and whether they affect the price, closing date, or either party’s ability to end the agreement.
