How referral fees work

Share your link with a claim holder. We record the first eligible referral link they visit and associate it with requests submitted in the same browser session within 30 days. A later referral link does not replace an active referral.

Fees are calculated on the verified face value of the claim sold, in its recorded currency or asset. The purchase price does not determine the referral fee. A visit, inquiry, or offer earns no fee. A sale qualifies only after staff confirms closing, seller payment, the end of the applicable objection period, and no objections.

Your first 25 qualifying sales earn 0.5%. Subsequent qualifying sales earn 1%. The rate is set when staff approves the sale, without retroactive increases. Voided sales do not count toward the threshold; earlier approved rates stay unchanged.

Self-referrals, duplicate transactions, and splitting a sale to increase the transaction count are not eligible. Staff verifies eligibility before approving any fee. If a sale becomes ineligible, its fee and qualifying count may be reversed.

The leaderboard is optional and shows only your chosen alias and qualifying sale count. Your email, seller identities, and transaction values stay private. Payment is handled separately by Wychwood; the site does not send money automatically.
